The World's Most Scrumdiddlyumptious Author

Roald Dahl was born on September 13th, 1916. He wrote many famous
books for children. Notable books by Dahl are: Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, The Twits, George's Marvelous Medicine,
The BFG, Esio Trot, The Enormous Crocodile, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and of course, The Witches.
Quentin Blake is usually the illustrator of Dahl's books. Some of his most haunting work is in The Witches. Dahl's
vast imagination allowed him to think up many wonderfully beloved stories. His dark humor and bizarre language in his books
make them an enjoyably fun reading experience. Dahl intensely disliked the film adaptation of The Witches because
the main character is turned back into a human form at the end. One thing he loved about the film was Anjelica Huston. After
all, who doesn't?
